Brain Flow Journal

I recently started a "brain flow journal," which is something I totally made it up... but I thought I would share because I think it's a really awesome self-help, self-love idea!

Basically, it's a little journal where you can write anything you want and anything that's running through your mind. It's crazy how much runs through your head just in a day! It's important to remember how you feel, why you're feeling that way, and to be able to reflect on that in the future. I limit every thought to a page in the little journal and once you're done with that little burst, you turn the page so there's an open, inviting, blank page ready whenever inspiration strikes.

It's different than a regular journal (which I also keep) because it allows you to write incoherent, nonsensical things without a second thought. Who knows what may come of them, but journal pages tend to be a little more planned and a little more artistic. These pages are to be messy and raw and real, without any concern for looks or whether you sound smart or not.

All you need is a little journal and a pen. YES, A PEN. If you want to undo something you'll have to scribble. SO SORRY.

Entries can be (but not limited to): poems, drawings, strings of random words, doodles, singular words, song lyrics, scribbles, or quotes.

ALSO, scribble the date at the top of every page so you have clear documentation of when you felt so inclined to BRAIN FLOW.

Okay, so give it a try!
