I've decided that every Friday I'm going to compile a list of my top ten favorite things from that week and share them here! So for my first Friday Favorites I'll be sharing some of my all time favorite things along with some amazing things I've uncovered this week! So I hope you enjoy the things I post this week and hopefully I can share some things you guys have never seen before! So, without further ado, here are my ten favorite things this week!

Number 10
Number 10 is the Under Wraps Bustier from Nasty Gal! It's so cute and has really interesting detailing that adds a special touch to any outfit. It also comes in black which will be an extremely functional addition to your wardrobe. It's reminiscent of the Balenciaga crop top that's pictured in the top right, but it's obviously extremely less expensive. This is a more a affordable and appropriate option for younger fashionistas!

My next favorite thing this week are animal flats! I've been obsessed with these since I saw those panda flats on sale at Urban Outfitters. I got the flats for $10 and I receive endless compliments every time I wear them. Adorable animal flats are an essential statement piece for every wardrobe and are necessary to spice up any outfit. Unfortunately, the panda flats from Urban Outfitters aren't available anymore, but here's a link to some super cute flats that are just as scene stealing: Check them out!

Now, for the most delicious creation I have EVER made/eaten. Zucchini pizzas. They are the most delicious things in the entire world. They're healthy, they have cheese on them, and they're even better with a side of asparagus. They're quick and easy to make, approximately five minutes of prep time and fifteen minutes of cooking in the toaster oven. I will recommend these above a slice of pizza any day! Let me know if you guys want a tutorial and recipe because I will be more than willing to do that!

Number 7... ugh I love handwritten letters, SO much, probably more than most people. I gasp when I see the beautifully decorated letters pop up on my Tumblr dashboard and I just had to share how stunning they are. I still write letters to my best friend even though we text and talk on the phone everyday because I feel that there's something so special in something handwritten and it's so sad that the act of writing letters is going out of "style." So next time you go to email or text a friend who lives far away or lives in your neighborhood, I encourage you to write a letter to them. Not only will they feel loved, but you're likely to get a handwritten response which is literally the best feeling in the world.

Old cameras are next on the list. They're just so cool and make me feel cool and it's just a win-win for both me and the camera. The camera in the picture is the Nikon SLR 35mm. It's actually a vintage from my mom who purchased it in the seventies and this is the camera that most of my childhood pictures were taken on. So there's something really inspiring about the fact that this camera has been passed down to me and it's far older than I am. I'm taking a photography course at school and we actually get to develop our own film and work in a dark room. It's awesome and I feel really hipster when I do anything involving the camera so I encourage everyone to ask their mothers if they have vintage cameras or check at your local thrift shop. Try it out!

These shorts are the loves of my life. I got them over the summer and wore them to the One Direction concert and I have never felt so confident in an article of clothing. They're from American Apparel and though they're relatively expensive, at $65, they are worth every penny. Plus, Katy Perry has them too and her fashion is as bright and carefree as it comes, so clearly they're movable and comfortable! American Apparel has the best high waisted shorts and patterns so I implore you to check them out for other sunflower patterned articles of clothing and high waisted shorts. Here's a link to these shorts on their website: American Apparel Sunflower Shorts JOIN THE CLUB!!

I cannot get enough of this hairstyle. It's so cute and functional, not to mention seriously in fashion! From Kylie Jenner to Whitney Port to Barbara Palvin, celebrities are all about it. Though it may seem strange to wear this hairstyle out and about or to school, I say why not?! I live in a small town and I'm just going to go for it! Who cares what people think? This double bun look is adorable, therefore you have no option but to look adorable while rocking it. I hope it stays in style for years to come!

THESE NAILS! Of course they're part of my Friday Favorites! Alexa Chung famously wore these nails and she has incited a nail design movement across the world! They're not terribly hard to do but they're super time consuming. The bottom row of pictures are the eye nails I did on myself while watching the finale of Big Brother and I was really impressed with how they came out. They lasted a long time and people really liked them, mainly commenting that they had never seen anything like them. If you guys want I can post a step-by-step tutorial on how to do these little babies! Who wouldn't want to be like Alexa Chung!

I'm not even sure where I came across these overalls but I know that they're those most perfect things I've ever laid my eyes on. I think I stumbled upon this website while browsing tumblr and I found this small business called MA Clothing Design. She's based in Australia/New Zealand and all of her clothing is amazing. She also has high waisted shorts in this pattern that are even cuter than the American Apparel watermelon shorts. MA Clothing Design has an awesome Instagram and website and you should check her out and support this super talented girl!

LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, MY NUMBER ONE FAVORITE THING:
CUT. OUT. BOOTS. I'm OBSESSED. These are definitely the big trend of Fall 2013 and for good reason. They're all over tumblr and on the feet of many young celebrities, making every girl who knows anything about fashion envious. The sad thing about these gorgeous shoes is that all of these young fashionistas want the exact shoes that the celebs are wearing by Balenciaga.. but that's just not possible for most young women:
I would assume $1200 dollars for a pair of boots is out of most people's price range.
Luckily, many companies have heeded the craze and have started to recreate these beauts. These cheaper boots obviously aren't the same, but you are able to get the look for $50, which seems a lot more realistic for most fashion-conscious gals. Gosh though, if I had the money, I would be rushing to Barneys to buy these incredible shoes.
So those are my top ten favorite things of this week! I hope you enjoyed! Check back next week for more Friday Favorites! Much love! <3
